Plenum Pulse Bag Filter

The Plenum Pulse Bag Filter(PPC/PPW series)is an advanced dry-type dust collector integrating the advantages of compartment reverse-air and pulse-jet cleaning technologies.Developed from Fuller’s technology,it solves the limitations of insufficient reverse-air cleaning strength and simultaneous filtration/cleaning in conventional pulse units.It is widely recognized for high efficiency,offline cleaning,and adaptability to heavy dust loads.

1.Working Principle

Filtration:Dust-laden gas enters the housing;coarse particles drop into the hopper by gravity.Fine dust is trapped on the outer surface of filter bags as air passes through the fabric into the clean air plenum.

Offline Cleaning(Core Feature):When pressure drop reaches the set value,the PLC system closes the lift valve of one compartment to isolate it from airflow.The pulse valve then injects 0.5–0.7 MPa compressed air into the plenum,expanding the bags and shaking off dust cakes.After cleaning,the valve reopens,and the next compartment is cleaned sequentially.

Dust Discharge:Dislodged dust falls into the hopper and is removed via an ash discharge valve.Clean air is exhausted through the outlet.

2.Main Components

Compartmentalized Housing:Divided into independent chambers(32–128 bags per chamber)for offline cleaning.

Filter Bags&Cages:Supported by metal cages;materials include polyester,fiberglass,or PTFE for different temperatures(≤130°C to≤280°C).

Plenum Pulse Cleaning System:Solenoid pulse valves,compressed air manifold,and lift valves(no venturi tubes,reducing resistance).

Hopper&Ash Discharge:Collect and discharge dust;optional screw conveyor or rotary valve.

PLC Control System:Automatic timing/pressure-difference cleaning with real-time monitoring.
