Manual Slide Gate Valve

A manual slide gate valve(also known as a manual knife gate valve)is a linear-motion industrial valve designed to start,stop,or regulate the flow of fluids,slurries,or dry bulk solids by means of a manually operated sliding gate(blade).

1.Working Principle

The valve features a flat,sturdy gate that slides perpendicular to the flow direction.

Full Open:The gate is fully retracted,allowing unobstructed,full-bore flow.

Full Closed:The gate is fully extended across the flow path,creating a tight seal to stop the flow completely.

Manual Operation:Actuated by a handwheel,lever,or chain,which turns a screw to move the gate up/down or in/out.
