Spray Drying Tower

A spray drying tower is a continuous industrial drying equipment that converts liquid feed(solution,suspension,emulsion,or paste)into dry powder/granules in one step.It atomizes liquid into fine droplets,which contact hot air for instant moisture evaporation,making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials and large-scale production.

Working Principle

Atomization:Liquid is pumped to the top atomizer(pressure nozzle/centrifugal disc)and dispersed into 20–100μm droplets.

Heat&Mass Transfer:Hot air(180–350°C)enters via a distributor,contacting droplets in co-current/counter-current flow.

Instant Drying:Moisture evaporates in 1–10 seconds;dry particles settle to the tower bottom.

Collection:Powders are collected by cyclone separators/bag filters;exhaust gas is purified and discharged.
