The offline cleaning baghouse,also known as compartmentalized offline pulse jet baghouse,is a high-efficiency dust removal equipment widely used in industrial production.Its core design feature is the compartmentalized isolation of the baghouse body,enabling individual chambers to stop air flow for cleaning while other chambers continue normal filtration.This design ensures thorough dust cleaning,stable emission performance,and extended service life of filter bags,making it particularly suitable for scenarios with high dust concentration,high viscosity dust,and ultra-low emission requirements.

1.Structure and Working Principle

1.1 Basic Structure

The offline cleaning baghouse is mainly composed of a main body,filter bags,pulse injection system,offline valve(lift valve),ash hopper,air inlet/outlet,and automatic control system.The main body is divided into multiple independent and airtight compartments,each equipped with a set of filter bags,pulse valves,injection pipes,and an offline valve.The control system is composed of a PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)and a differential pressure gauge,which realizes automatic monitoring and cleaning control.

1.2 Filtration Process

The entire filtration process is continuous and efficient,following these steps:

1.Dust-laden gas enters the baghouse through the air inlet and first flows into the ash hopper,where large-particle dust settles by gravity,reducing the load on the filter bags.

2.The gas with fine dust then enters the middle box,where the dust is intercepted on the outer surface of the filter bags.The filtered clean gas passes through the filter bags into the clean air chamber and is discharged into the atmosphere through the fan.

3.The dust removal efficiency of the equipment can reach more than 90%,and the emission concentration of the outlet can stably meet≤10 mg/m³,meeting the ultra-low emission standards of most industries.

1.3 Core:Offline Cleaning Process

Offline cleaning is the key advantage of this equipment,which is triggered automatically by the control system and carried out in a compartment-by-compartment cycle without stopping the entire equipment:

1.When the differential pressure of the filter bags reaches the set value(usually 1.2–1.5 kPa),indicating that the dust cake on the surface of the filter bags is thick enough to affect filtration efficiency,the PLC triggers the cleaning process.

2.The offline valve of the target compartment is closed,isolating the compartment from the main air flow.At this point,the compartment stops filtration and enters the offline state,ensuring no air flow interference during cleaning.

3.The pulse valve is opened,and compressed air with a pressure of 0.4–0.6 MPa is instantly injected into the filter bags through the injection pipe.The sudden expansion and vibration of the filter bags cause the dust cake attached to the surface to fall off and fall into the ash hopper.

4.After cleaning,the compartment is kept in the offline state for 2–3 minutes to allow the dust to fully settle in the ash hopper,avoiding secondary adsorption of dust by the filter bags.Then the offline valve is opened,and the compartment resumes normal filtration.The system cycles through each compartment to achieve continuous and stable operation of the entire equipment.

2.Key Advantages

-Thorough Dust Cleaning:Since each compartment is isolated and stops air flow during cleaning,there is no confrontation between the positive air flow and the injection air flow,making the injection energy more concentrated and the dust cake peeled off more completely,avoiding secondary dust emission.

-Stable Ultra-Low Emission:The thorough cleaning effect effectively prevents secondary dust from being brought into the clean air chamber,ensuring that the outlet emission concentration is stably controlled below 10 mg/m³,which can easily meet the ultra-low emission requirements of various industrial fields.

-Longer Service Life of Filter Bags:The offline cleaning uses lower injection pressure,reducing the friction and wear of the filter bags during the cleaning process.Compared with online cleaning baghouses,the service life of filter bags can be extended by 20–50%.

-Strong Adaptability:It is suitable for handling dust with high concentration(up to 500 g/m³),high humidity,high viscosity,and fine particle size,and can be widely used in harsh working conditions such as boilers,chemical industry,and metallurgy.

-Continuous Operation:The compartment-by-compartment offline cleaning mode ensures that other compartments continue to work normally while one compartment is being cleaned,realizing non-stop continuous operation of the entire equipment and ensuring stable production.

3.Typical Applications

The offline cleaning baghouse is widely used in various industrial fields that require high-efficiency dust removal and ultra-low emission,mainly including:

-Thermal power plants,biomass boilers,waste incineration plants(handling coal dust,flue gas dust,etc.)

-Chemical industry(handling dust from chemical reactions,material mixing,etc.)

-Metallurgical industry(handling dust from steelmaking,ironmaking,non-ferrous metal smelting,etc.)

-Building materials industry(cement plants,asphalt mixing stations,etc.)
