Working Principle
The valve operates entirely through hydraulic force,requiring no external power(electricity or manual operation):
Open Position:When the forward pressure of the fluid(water)inside the pipeline exceeds the external pressure and the weight of the flap,the hinged disc(flap)swings open,allowing unobstructed flow.
Closed Position:When the flow ceases or reverse pressure occurs(e.g.,high tide,flooded downstream),the flap automatically swings back and seals tightly against the valve seat,effectively blocking backflow.
