Flap Discharge Valve

Flap Discharge Valve,also known as double flap valve or single flap discharge valve,is an indispensable discharging and sealing device widely used in dust removal,environmental protection,metallurgy,building materials,chemical and grain industries.It is mainly installed at the bottom of dust collectors,cyclone separators,silos and hoppers for continuous and uniform discharging of powder,granular and small block materials,while effectively preventing air backflow and dust leakage.

Working Principle

Relying on material gravity and mechanical counterweight or electric/pneumatic drive,the flap plate opens automatically when materials accumulate to a certain weight for discharging.When the material pressure decreases,the flap closes tightly under gravity and counterweight force.It can maintain airtight performance during discharging,avoid outside air entering the equipment,and ensure the normal operation of dust removal and pneumatic conveying systems.
