FRP Flap Valve

FRP Flap Valve,also known as Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic flap valve,is an automatic gravity check valve made of high-strength fiberglass reinforced plastic composite material.It realizes automatic opening and closing only by water pressure difference,which allows forward water flow freely and effectively prevents backflow of river water,tide water and sewage.With outstanding corrosion resistance and lightweight property,it is widely used in drainage and environmental protection projects.

Working Principle

The valve operates without any external power,manual operation or control device.

When upstream water flows forward,the hydraulic pressure pushes the FRP flap open to achieve smooth water drainage.

When upstream flow stops,or downstream water level rises,flood backflow and tide surge happen,the flap will automatically close tightly under gravity and reverse water pressure,forming a tight seal to completely block reverse flow and protect pipelines,pump stations and drainage systems.
