Soft Seal Gate Valve

A soft seal gate valve is a type of linear motion valve widely used in industrial pipeline systems,primarily designed to control the on-off of media with high sealing performance.It is characterized by a soft sealing pair—usually made of PTFE,RPTFE,or other flexible materials—installed on the gate or valve seat,which ensures excellent sealing effect even under low pressure conditions and effectively prevents internal and external leakage.

The working principle of a soft seal gate valve is based on the linear movement of the gate:when the valve stem is rotated by the actuator(manual,electric,or pneumatic),the gate moves up and down along the valve seat to open or close the pipeline.The soft seal material closely fits the valve seat,forming a reliable seal that can adapt to various non-corrosive and slightly corrosive media,such as water,air,oil,and weak chemical solutions.
