Spray Tower Scrubber(also known as spray scrubber or wet scrubber)is a high-efficiency air pollution control equipment,mainly used for purifying industrial waste gas containing dust,acid mist,alkali mist,toxic and harmful gases.It is widely applied in industries such as chemical engineering,metallurgy,electroplating,power generation,pharmaceutical,and waste incineration.By spraying absorbent liquid(water,alkaline solution,acid solution,etc.)into the tower,the equipment fully contacts the waste gas,realizes the absorption,neutralization and sedimentation of pollutants,and finally discharges clean gas that meets environmental protection standards.It has the advantages of simple structure,stable operation,high purification efficiency and strong adaptability to different pollutants.

Main Structure

-Tower Body:Made of carbon steel,stainless steel(304/316L)or FRP,with a cylindrical or square structure,corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant,ensuring long-term stable operation in harsh working environments.

-Spray System:Composed of spray nozzles,pipelines and a liquid pump.The nozzles(spiral,atomizing or fan-shaped)atomize the absorbent liquid into fine droplets,increasing the contact area between the liquid and waste gas.

-Gas Inlet&Outlet:The gas inlet is usually set at the lower part of the tower body,and the gas outlet is at the top;a deflector is installed at the inlet to make the waste gas evenly distributed in the tower.

-Demister:Installed at the top of the tower,used to separate the liquid droplets entrained in the purified gas,prevent liquid loss and secondary pollution.

-Liquid Circulation System:Including a circulating tank,liquid pump and pipeline,which can recycle the absorbent liquid,reduce operating costs;equipped with a sewage discharge port for regular discharge of sediment and waste liquid.

-Control System:Optional PLC intelligent control,supporting local and remote operation,with functions of liquid level monitoring,pressure detection,and fault alarm.

Working Principle

When the Spray Tower Scrubber is in operation,the industrial waste gas containing pollutants is introduced into the tower body through the gas inlet,and flows upward along the tower.At the same time,the circulating pump delivers the absorbent liquid(configured according to the type of pollutants)to the spray nozzles,which atomize the liquid into fine droplets and spray downward evenly.The upward flowing waste gas and the downward spraying liquid droplets form a countercurrent contact,and the pollutants in the gas(such as dust,acid mist,harmful gases)are fully contacted with the absorbent liquid.Dust particles are captured by the liquid droplets and settle to the bottom of the tower with the liquid;acid mist or alkali mist is neutralized by the corresponding absorbent solution;toxic and harmful gases are absorbed and dissolved in the liquid.After purification,the gas passes through the demister to remove entrained liquid droplets,and then is discharged through the gas outlet to meet the national and international environmental protection emission standards.The used absorbent liquid flows into the circulating tank,and after precipitation and treatment,it can be recycled or discharged after reaching the standard.
