UV Photocatalysis Oxidation Equipment,also known as UV PCO Equipment,is an advanced environmental protection device designed for the efficient purification of volatile organic compounds(VOCs),malodorous gases,and harmful pollutants.Leveraging the synergistic effect of high-energy ultraviolet(UV)light and nanoscale photocatalysts,it decomposes toxic and harmful substances into non-toxic,harmless water(H₂O)and carbon dioxide(CO₂)without generating secondary pollution,making it a preferred choice for green production and air pollution control in various industries.

Working Principle

The core working principle of UV Photocatalysis Oxidation Equipment involves three key synergistic reactions,ensuring thorough degradation of pollutants:

-UV Photolysis:High-energy UV light(with wavelengths of 185nm and 254nm)directly breaks the molecular bonds of organic pollutants such as benzene series,esters,and sulfides,cracking macromolecular pollutants into small-molecule fragments.The photon energy of 185nm UV light reaches 647 kJ/mol,while that of 254nm UV light is 472 kJ/mol,both of which are higher than the bond energy of most harmful gas molecules,enabling effective bond cleavage.

-Photocatalytic Oxidation:When UV light irradiates the photocatalyst(typically nano-titanium dioxide,TiO₂),it activates the catalyst to generate highly reactive hydroxyl radicals(·OH)and superoxide radicals(O₂⁻).These free radicals have strong oxidizing properties,which can further oxidize difficult-to-degrade pollutants(such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and thioethers)into harmless small-molecule substances.

-Ozone Synergy:UV light with a wavelength below 200nm(185nm)decomposes oxygen molecules(O₂)in the air to generate ozone(O₃).Ozone has a strong oxidation effect on odor molecules(such as H₂S and NH₃)and unreacted organic fragments,enhancing the overall purification efficiency and deodorization effect.

-Intelligent Control System:Integrating temperature and humidity monitoring,UV lamp power adjustment,and fault early warning modules,realizing automatic operation and remote monitoring.It can dynamically adjust the operating parameters according to the concentration of incoming waste gas,achieving energy saving and intelligent maintenance.
