Core Working Principle

The equipment operates on three synergistic mechanisms:

High-Energy UV Photolysis

Special dual-wavelength UV lamps(185nm&254nm)emit high-energy ultraviolet light.

This light directly cracks the molecular bonds of organic pollutants and odor-causing molecules(e.g.,benzene,toluene,hydrogen sulfide,ammonia),breaking them into smaller fragments.

The 185nm UV light also splits oxygen molecules(O₂)in the air to form ozone(O₃),a powerful oxidizing agent.

Photocatalytic Oxidation(PCO)

The UV light irradiates a photocatalyst(typically titanium dioxide,TiO₂)coated on a porous plate or mesh.

This excitation generates electron-hole pairs on the catalyst surface,which react with water vapor and oxygen to produce highly reactive hydroxyl radicals(·OH)and superoxide ions(·O₂⁻).

These free radicals non-selectively oxidize the pollutant fragments,completely mineralizing them into harmless CO₂and H₂O.

Ozone Synergy

Ozone generated by the UV light works in tandem with the photocatalytic process to enhance the oxidation and disinfection effect,ensuring thorough deodorization and sterilization.
